The Prophet Muhammad emphasised his love for perfumes in the Hadiths:
“Allah is Pleasant and loves pleasant things, Clean and loves cleanliness, Generous and loves generosity…”
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) relates that “The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) would not refuse perfume.” [Bukhari and Tirmidhi]
