Eid.Sydney

The International Eid Festival broke the record for the biggest festival in the South Western Sydney. The end of Ramadan marks the end of the fasting and the beginning of the celebration, Eid al Fitr.

The Muslims Around The World Project of MATW-Project, presented the Sydney International Eid Festival. There were two days of fun and festivities were celebrated by over 50,000 people over the two days.

The diverse community came together to showcase remarkable cultural experiences with breathtaking performing arts, speakers and so much more. If you missed out this year, don’t worry because the dates are already set for another awesome eid festival, you won’t want to miss.

Headlining the event is motivational speaker Mufti Menk. He is named as one of the top 500 influential Muslims around the world and came straight to the stage of the Sydney Eid Internation Festival to speak directly to us. Mufti Menk works with the Muslims of Zimbabwe catering to their educational needs and frequently speaks at educational institutes, mosques and has spoken in dozens of countries, spreading his wisdom and beliefs.

With countless attractions for all ages of the family, you’ll feel like one day isn’t enough to see it all. There were more than 50 stalls from sponsors and companies, show bags, Henna tattooing, face painting, Motorcross displays, petting zoos, horse riding and only 30 dollars for unlimited rides all day.

Racing around all of those would make you hungry, luckily there were food stalls with international cuisines. All of those in one place, only at the Liverpool Eid Festival.
